No (sadly) we aren’t talking about an exotic holiday destination, but the name of two beautiful trees, from two very different parts of the world!
One would not really think to combine together in a garden, yet these two incredible species reside beautifully together in the stunning Bayside suburb of Alber Park, Melbourne.
These gracious trees are splashed across most of our, visit Melbourne postcards – that every good tourist sends home! We love seeing these gracious giants change and adapt through the seasons. Don’t you just love them? Who would have thought our beloved Albert Park was the perfect spot for these exotic trees to mature so well together !
We absolutely love seeing these gracious giants change and adapt through the seasons, however on days like today (in the mid-winter chill) we have all voted for a road trip to visit the date palms home in the Canary Islands – to bask in the sun again!
